this is the first of many. I am going to post a few how to's on product photography and also offersome pointers on studio lighting and location lighting. So to get things started

this image was created using one main light. Its not even edited. I set a 2m x 1m softbox on a 500w flash head and brought it in close ( the larger the lightsource the softer the light). I then used an 80cm x 80cm softbox to add rim to the right
